Oh, that site is wonderful! I found my Daisy-chain there in Feb. of this year. Ended up driving about 1800 miles round trip to get her! But I was in love, so it was no problem, lol. It is a wonderful site, and not only can you search locally, regionally, or nationally, you can search by breed, species, as well as by rescue groups or shelters. Peace, Susan

I am the adoption/volunteer coordinator for a local shelter here in RI and I am the sole person who is in charge of the site on Petfinder.com. I have had MANY successful adoptions and so many wonderful animals who wouldnt have been given the second chance they so deserve and long for if it not for this site!! Dee~
