Gee I just found out I have acid reflux...it burned my vocal codes...on med now..Never knew I had it until..I couldn't talk without sounding like a FROG...its been that way since March...just now getting my voice back...anyone else out there experience this??? Glad to hear its not cancer...

My son who is 28 and 310 pounds..and has medicade..threw the welfare office.,.I know he must have sleep apena..and very very bad knees..does anyone know if he would qualifiy for surgery with Grand Health partners in Grand Rapids Michigan..I guess its only a phone call away..I am so scared for him..he is so young..and I know I got my life back..after surgery..thanks for any input...Bev in BC

I can't believe it!!!!!!....After 8 months having gastric bypass,,,I have lost 100 lbs....I feel GREEEEAT!!!!........My reward......going on a cruise..and taking a bathsuit....Awesome feeling...Just remember it can't be done..........I am so happy to have this tool...I never want to go back where I was...Good Luck to all with there Journey...Hugs To all Bev

WOW..you have done great...I don't believe I will ever see 140's or a size 8..unless I am decompsing...LOL.........but would be happy at 150...and size 12..I haven't seen that number since I was in high school......and that was many many years ago..LOL..again congrats on your journey you have done a great job..Bev

I am like you...I am 8 lbs from losing 100 pounds..I can't wait until I can say 100 lbs LOST!!!!
but I plan on treating myself..to a first time CRUISE..I can hardly wait ..I feel I deserve this..I am just scare to death of all the food..but I have told myself...I have to stay in control....I never want those pounds back...Good luck with your weight lost..and Congrats on a job well done..

6 months out from RNY surgery...91 lbs gone forever....I feel great!!!!...Yes I would do it again..but like all others I wish I would have done it many years ago...I am golfing again ..walking without help ..climb stairs....LIFE IS GREAT AGAIN!!!..I LOVE MY RNY...Best of luck with your surgery.

I use Whey protein from Walmart..Vanilla............52 grams of protein for 2 scoops......I use 2 scoops of protein to a 1pt, 7,7 Fl oz..then add Lemonda crystal light..shake it and sip on it very refreshing and I ge****er and protein...Hope that helps...Bev in Michigan

I was in the hospital in May...2 months after surgery ( RNY) with broncitics...and they put me on steriods.. threw my IV..and put me on predizone....was that a no no?...I went to a hospital that did not do my RNY...I did tell them I had gastric bypass...Gee........I quess I should have asked this questions before...Thanks for any information.........Hugs from Michigan Bev

I was never much of a water drinker...but after having to give up my diet caffenine coke...I had to learn to like it....so I bought lots of bottle water...then I have been adding the crystal light for flavor...lots of great flavors out there....the I decided if I was going to be drinking water all day..I should get some protein along with it...so now I add a scope of Whey protein to every bootle..I do have to remove some water..add the crystal light..shake and some times freeze it and it wonderful...make sure you shake it very well......I think you will be surprisedm how good it is...Good Luck...Hope that helps...Hugs from Bev in Michigan

Well Monday I leave for Las Vegas...I am 10 weeks out from my RNY...I am taking my Protein powder...(Whey)... I like to add this to my Crystal light to make sure I am getting protein while I drink...plus I am taking Carnation Instant breakfast...also adding extra protein...but any ideas on the best things to eat while dinning out at the buffets...I hope my eyes are not bigger than my tummy........LOL...
