My dad had one. It was blue. We thought it was pretty goofy.

Much more recently (just a few days ago, in fact) Tammy reveals her new hair style in the article (and short video) below .. btw, I was not aware that Tammy had undergone a failed RNY before .. Her current success is due to a revision to same. Her sister, Misty (Wentworth), actually underwent the SADI-S procedure. Supposedly Misty is doing well as a post op and is following her WLS "rules" also, per Tammy.

Very interesting and informative personal look at Tammy via TikTok .. (Sorry this is a bit late, as her 1-year surgiversary was actually earlier this year):

Topic: SHOCKER !!! :0 UHC Insurance Covers Great Gyms !

Holy cow !!!

I knew my insurance ( United Health Care Life Improvement Plan ) covered SOME kind of ( virtual ) gym membership but as of August 2024 it covers AMAZING real life classes and first class clubs literally steps from my home .

Pilates ?!! Barre Class ?!!!! These are $ 30-45 classes for ONE hour !!!

Not to mention New York Health and Sport Clubs ( where a million years ago I worked as a personal trainer and gym floor desk manager ) and Equinox Fitness a very expensive ( $383.00 per MONTH !!! club literally around the corner from me .

I bet this could be extended to lap swimming even in a pool or water based exercise classes too.

Not to mention free acupuncture and MASSAGE!!!

Im SO there ! Just have to buy ( and charge ) wireless headphones on the way to IKEA.

It also MIGHT cover LA Fitness which is a great gym chain all over the country. The old version I believe used to pay for them.

But LA Fitness also works with a LOT of different insurances so check out their website - you might just be covered !

Topic: RE: Cosmetic Tips n Trix

So I experimented with my Retin-A and here are the results -

I used it on my neck and decollettage area to see if it would tighten that skin and hopefully ( since only skin supports them there ) slightly lift my boobs .

Result : INSTANT fix for crepey skin décolletage - skin looks firm and plump now . Could swear the boobs are positioned a tiny bit higher too . Just uses a LOT of Retin A so I'm going to have to get a tube a month prescribed I think .

I also used it on my scars from plastic surgery particularly the LBL scar which goes all around my lower body and the thigh lift scars which are essentially the unsexy leg line of granny panties if you can imagine

Though they healed exceptionally well the thigh lift scars aren't particularly conducive to ****** or sexy barely there lingerie ... so the Retin A helping both the color and smoothness ( just after a few treatments) is REALLY suprising ! FAR more effective than ( expensive ) scar gel I found !

If you can think of other uses please tell me - photo damage and wrinkled skin on the backs of hands and forearms also comes to mind.

Topic: RE: 18 years post op and getting foamies again

That sounds really tough. I went through some rough patches after my surgery too, and I totally get the frustration with doctors. The foamies can be such a hassle; I found that adjusting how I ate--like taking smaller bites and chewing more--helped a *****ronic pain is the worst, especially when you feel like no one believes you. Have you thought about seeking a second opinion or maybe even a specialist? Sometimes it helps to find a doctor *****ally listens.

I totally get where you're coming from. For me, something that really helped was incorporating mindfulness practices, like meditation or yoga. They've made a big difference in reducing anxiety and keeping my mind clear. Also, I found journaling to be a great way to process my thoughts and track my progress. It might take some time, but these approaches can be super effective.

Topic: RE: Care to Share Ur Post Op Hair Thickening Tips n Trix?

It sounds like you're on an exciting journey. Thinning hair can be tough, but many people swear by biotin and collagen, and Nutrafol seems to help a lot with growth, so those might be worth a shot. As for makeup, it can feel strange at first, but it's all about finding what makes you feel good; even just a bit of mascara or tinted lip balm can boost your confidence without feeling like a whole "face." And gardening in dirty sweatpants is totally relatable--maybe try some comfy yet cute outfits for when you're out and about.

21 days will form a habit. You should make a plan and follow it, be disciplined. Action will have results. Keep going!
