Topic: RE: Has anyone here had their RNY surgery reversed?

From my personal experience I can say have her look at her vitamins .

i can't explain why I'm rebellious with it but I've had SUCH a hard time forcing vitamins down .

Taking them properly makes me feel so much better but I stop .... and then my health quickly and very seriously deteriorates.

Topic: here to help

Hey everyone. My name is Matt. I live in Boston and I am 36. I was obese from 25 to 34 when I started looking at my options. Either die like this or do something about it. I thought I needed surgery but I came across this site. I was 320 pounds in 2019. Today I am just under 200. Its been an amazing journey. I really wanted to share this with other people because it has literally changed my life, and so much more. I can finally see life without depression goggles on. I hope this helps someone and if it does please please please let me know. I know how miserable it can be when youre in the thick of it, but there is a solution. At least for me. Love you guys and be well!

Topic: RE: Leg Edema And Weight Loss Surgery

Hi,

I have edema in my legs to I have no idea how I got it but my vascular surgeon said it's most likely due to my weight as well. He had told me to get bariatric surgery so I made an appointment to speak to a doctor about that surgery. Plus I'm also getting lumbar spine surgery and I gotta be fit for that too. And knee surgery all they said due to my weight as well as an injury I got in a slip and fall accident. I want to know if edema goes away it's so ugly haven't worn shorts in years and it's made me really depressed and unhappy.

let me know if u find out about that please. Good luck

Definitely check with your insurance, hopefully they'll cover the removal. Good luck!

Topic: RE: things I can to do to improve me to walk without use my walker

I am not sure, maybe that's something your doctor's office can recommend? Depending on your situation there may be specific exercises that you could do to improve range of motion, strength and balance but a trainer or a physio would be able to make the best recommendations. Good luck!
