they'll only do that for serious medical issues that can't be resolved otherwise. I've seen a couple (or maybe a handful) of posts on that in the six or seven years I've been on here - but it's rare. Not sure if any current members have been through that or not.

I?ve started practicing it 2 months ago. My friend was always talking about this kind of yoga, and I laughed at her. She looked obsessed by it. One day she got angry with me because of my attitude. So, I decided to try it.

Topic: Anyone take a weight loss pill?

I'm taking Topiramate (topamax), I'm not losing enough weight and so I was put on this to eat smaller portions and feel fuller faster. Just wandering if anyone has had any experiences to share with prescribed weight loss pills.

I am just wondering if anyone here has had their RNY surgery reversed for any reason? I don't mean having a revision surgery I mean reversing the surgery completely.

Topic: RE: Post Iron Infusion Dizziness

What type of iron did you get?

Some iron, such as Injectafer , can cause a really dramatic drop in phosphorus

"The pharmaceutical drug Injectafer (generic name: ferric carboxymaltose), an iron carbohydrate complex used to treat iron deficiency anemia, has been linked to severe hypophosphatemia (HPP) - a dangerously low level of phosphorus in the blood that can cause life-threatening complications.

Severe Hypophosphatemia Can Be Life-Threatening

Iron deficiency anemia occurs when the body lacks sufficient iron. Injectafer is an iron deficiency anemia treatment used in adult patients who have an intolerance or unsatisfactory response to oral iron. The drug is injected intravenously by a healthcare professional, often in two doses, approximately seven days apart.1

Injectafer has been shown to dramatically reduce the amount of phosphate (phosphorus) in the body, leading to severe hypophosphatemia. Symptoms of severe HPP include extreme fatigue, muscle weakness and confusion, and left untreated, severe HPP can cause seizures, respiratory failure, heart failure, rhabdomyolysis, and osteomalacia.2 Complications involving severe HPP can even lead to coma and death.3

When surgeons leave a practice they usually have another doctor take over their patients if they are not going to be available.

Topic: RE: National Conference (Houston) Still A Go?

Batwingman, the conference is still scheduled and we will be making some announcements soon. We have been in contact with the hotel on a day-to-day basis and since Texas has just opened up, we are ensuring we know all their limitations as well as requirements for Covid safety for our attendees. We will make the announcements on our site as well as our social media platforms, so stay tuned!
