Care to Share Ur Post Op Hair Thickening Tips n Trix?
Hi ! I?m sixteen years post RNY and finally starting to care about my appearance.
In truth I pretty much always see only the flaws so it?s easier just to be a schlub- but I?m tired of living my life in drrty sweatpants so to speak ( and literally though I get FILTHY gardening like a kindergartner I?d like to magically look more put together and even professional when it?s appropriate.
Thinning hair is a big issue for me. Pre op and for a few years after I had a great head of hair - now it?s thinner. It grows slowly especially in the back . I?ve been trying to scalp stimulate regularly but would very much appreciate advice on supplements that work - like Nutrifol or collagen/ biotin. Thanks !
Experimenting with makeup too - weirdly putting a ? face? on makes me think I?m not enough naturally ( of course that?s true if I don?t want to put in the effort to look my best ) Feels so strange though !
I tried " duck lips? lipgloss and it works by literally irritating your lips on a low level . Talk about bee- stung lips lol!
It sounds like you're on an exciting journey. Thinning hair can be tough, but many people swear by biotin and collagen, and Nutrafol seems to help a lot with growth, so those might be worth a shot. As for makeup, it can feel strange at first, but it's all about finding what makes you feel good; even just a bit of mascara or tinted lip balm can boost your confidence without feeling like a whole "face." And gardening in dirty sweatpants is totally relatable--maybe try some comfy yet cute outfits for when you're out and about.
read this FREE EBOOK about carb cycling and it helped me lose weight.
Well I DID purchase some makeup and ... once the bathroom mirror is halfway properly lit up - plan to use it :)
Here's the issue - without the use of heavy duty enlarging glasses I can't read nor really precisely apply eye makeup !
I REALLY don't want 2 look like one of those older ladiez w crooked eyeliner and crease-caked foundation/ powder either.
My ( rented) bathroom walls are marble tile so installing an extending 5x magnifying lighted mirror is not an option.
I thought about glasses where one eye then the other eyes lens could drop so I could see what I'm applying but don't have a clue where to find them
. So now it's just still sunscreen , under eye concealer, sunscreen powder ( there's a wonderful one at Sephora looks just like translucent powder on and it's 30 spf ) and brow pencil.
Would very much like eyeliner n mascara but have to solve the seeing problem . Any ideas?
