How can I effectively overcome bad habits and anxiety?

I've been struggling with bad habits and anxiety for a while and I'm looking for a natural and effective way to overcome these challenges. Traditional methods haven't worked well for me, and I'm interested in exploring alternative approaches that focus on mental and emotional wellness. Can you recommend any solutions that have proven results?

Weight comes down to the simple equation that the amount of calories you consume and burn determines how much you will weigh. In my many years of struggling with weight, I have had the best results with the new Weigh****chers program which is drastically different than the old one. Many people are having success with the diabetes drugs that are being prescribed for weight loss. You can also find mental and emotional support through Overeaters Anonymous.

I think a lot of us find accountability and virtually ? hanging around? with like minded post bariatric surgery patients really helps.

There?s a popular daily food- n-exercise thread on the RNY board you can join or join me on the DS board ( I don?t get on so well with a few of the RNYers) or you can start your own thread !

For me OH chat and posting was a HUGE resource information wise and emotional support wise both before and after my RNY. ( sixteen years ago ) .

Though I?ve had some ups and downs during the years ( most recently a low iron crisis) I?ve luckily managed to keep most of my excess weight off and stay fairly healthy if incorrigibly stubborn .

21 days will form a habit. You should make a plan and follow it, be disciplined. Action will have results. Keep going!

I totally get where you're coming from. For me, something that really helped was incorporating mindfulness practices, like meditation or yoga. They've made a big difference in reducing anxiety and keeping my mind clear. Also, I found journaling to be a great way to process my thoughts and track my progress. It might take some time, but these approaches can be super effective.
