Me neither, but it did and it can.

How are you feeling now? I didn't realize any of this could happen.

First, thank you for asking. You also reminded me that I should post an update.

I am happy to report, I am back on track and healthy again ... I was told that a Revision to my RNY was needed; I really did not want it, but if it had to be, then it had to be, however, pre-surgery blood labs; showed a drastic decrease (again) with my Albumin (protein) and I was once again too unhealthy for a surgery &/or recovery, therefore, another Feeding was needed to restore my levels before proceeding with the Revision ... well, I didn't want that either but it appeared to be inevitable.

My surgeon, went in to install/place (whatever the correct term is) the feeding tube back into my resting stomach, however, as thorough as he is/was, decided to take a good look around my abdomen and all organs RNY related and discovered ALL looked fine and alive (so-to-speak) ... BUT ... low and behold, what's this ... a FIBRIN (like a fiber strain string-like growth) was wrapped around part of my Intestines/Gut, and 'possibly' the cause of the MalAbsorption of my protein nutrients. He snipped it (or did whatever needed) to get rid of it; still put the tube in, only as a precaution (if needed), and sent me to recovery.

Started monitoring blood levels and never feeding this tube, and that was it ... my levels started restoring and I am happy to report am back to normal and I don't go back to him nor check blood for 6 months ... the only downside, is (2) things ... a) the FIBRIN wasn't discovered a year ago December when the 1st Tube was placed, and b) the fat-cell padding I've put on, but I am determined, back on a healthy track and just need to do a reset and get my brain back on track.

On Nov. 4, 2022, my surgeon, went in to install/place (whatever the correct term is) the feeding tube back into my resting stomach, however, as thorough as he is/was, decided to take a good look around my abdomen and all organs RNY related and discovered ALL looked fine and alive (so-to-speak) ... Glad they found the issue, and that you seem to be on the road to recovery!
