I will see what my husband can do at least for a day or two. PRAYING things are easy!

Everyone is different, but I didn't have any issues after that I needed help with. I did have to watch how much I was lifting though. As some have stated above I did feel almost normal like 48 hours after surgery and had to be reminded that I just surgery to chill out and not over do it.

I have two sisters that are nurses so I had plenty of care.I feel very lucky for that. I didn't need as much help as I thought I would though.Help caring for my cats and dog was a big one for me. I had someone to take the dog out several times a day, something I didn't feel like doing the first few days.

I live on a 1/2 acre so thankfully, all would need to do is use my ball throw stick and sit in my chair on the back porch and let the dogs run.

I needed help with my dog as I couldn't bend over and pick up his waste.

I had a pretty hard time getting out of bed. A recliner helps a lot.

In general I had no problem getting myself drinks/food, and getting to the bathroom. Actually wiping my own butt was pretty difficult for the first few days, though I think I only had one BM to worry about.

After that first week or two though you're going to be able to get around pretty well. You'll be sore for a bit but after about 6 weeks I was lifting weights and all that without any pain or discomfort. Though I did ease into it.

That's Husband duty!!! lol

Recliner is a good idea... I will let my husband know that he may be getting the bed to himself for a few nights!

Thank you!
