How did you all do through the stay at home (if you were in a state that required that)
Thank you for sharing! You did amazingly well on your overall weight loss from 400 and given you are in maintenance when it is harder to stick to our way of eating and can gain easily kudos. I am sure you will get those last few lbs off. I know it gets harder the farther out we are to lose but it seems like many have done at least that during this lockdown which is awesome. Good luck with getting back to your gym next week and getting the rest off!
I realize how fortunate I am because my job hasn't changed one bit - with the exception of doing it from home instead of going into the office. I've also been a teleworker before so I know how to make adjustments. I've been able to maintain some semblance of a "normal" life in this uncertain times. I live in a gated 55+ community so I try to get out and take walks when the weather is nice. I also have a lovely sunporch and try to spend an hour there after I shut my computer enjoying the view. I do go grocery shopping twice a week. I do hate leaving my condo itself because I'm on the 11th floor of a high rise, which means I have to take the elevator. Unfortunately there are also people who live here to really don't are and don't wear masks (even though they are required to when in public areas of our building) so my apartment is my safe place.
I had the DS so when this first started, I was very concerned about being able to get my protein and vitamins so I was one of those stockpilers. I always keep at least a month's worth of vitamins on hand, but I now have at least 2 months worth. I'm also very fortunate that our local farmer's market, which is a year-round market, has set the standard and I've been able to support our local farmers and get fresh meat, eggs, bread, etc.
We will all get through this. Our new normal is changing and all you can do is wake up every morning, be thankful, and do the best that we can possibly do.

That is wonderful you were able to continue working from home. So you adapted well to the changes and stayed on course. I can completely understand about not wanting to leave your apartment to ride in an elevator and 11 floors is way too many flights of stairs that is for sure. I really wish our farmers were able to still operate during this I definitely would have gone to those to get the foods I needed but most were shut down around beginning of April I am not even sure any have started back u*****t. One thing I did notice in our area is that it seems like the entertainment options are opening up more quickly than lets say restaurants or gyms. I think a few clubs are doing limited capacity, but restaurants are still trying to get in gear and figure out how to adapt to the new normal. I am sure it is a struggle in every state.
I got the call yesterday for a 6/1 recall to my office twice a week (Tues and Thur). We have a new product launching soon and so they want the launch team back together. I'm excited because I'm going crazy. Sadly through this all, in addition to stress, etc. I'm experiencing severe back pain (started before, but only got worse during), blood sugar is going wonky, bloop pressure is going wonky. Doc thinks it's all related to the stress and pain together, but I have to deal with all these little things. Many other issues I won't go into. But I'll be truthful, it will be nice to just get back to the office, even if only for a few hours a week. I started out the isolation eating everything and was up 5 for the first two weeks. I decided to put a stop to that, plus the pain steals much of my appetite. Since the second week I'm now down to my lowest all time recorded adult weight as of this morning. 178.8. That's down 15 from the top of my regain point of 194. Just start with one step at a time and it will come together. Find some stress busters, I still keep up my exercise and try to go for a lunch walk, if weather okay. If not, I just sit in my garage with the radio on for 15 min to take a mid day break. Good luck

WOW You have done wonderfully adapting to this change and losing weight but I totally get the stress related things. Way to go on getting below your original lowest weight!!!! My BP started rising again and I know it was due to my weight regain but I also felt it was stress related to all of this. With the lack of decent choices I found myself suffering from RH more and more and I felt like crap A LOT. Once I got that under control I was able to function better that is for sure and it pushed me to plan ahead during this so when we were able to find meat we bought enough to fill our freezer and helped me get back to meal prepping.
We are very much still staying home, even though our state is in "Phase 2" of re-opening. We haven't been anywhere except the grocery store and to get take-out in over 10 weeks now.
I'm struggling with wanting to go and do things. I'd really love to go to the beach and sit down for some seafood at an outdoor restaurant. But, I personally feel that continuing to social distance is really important.
As far as my diet, I don't feel like much changed. I used to get coffee out 2-4 times per week and that stopped. I also used to eat lunch out maybe once per week, and we're instead getting take-out on Friday's. I was within .4lbs from the first day of quarantine when I weighed in this morning.
I think I'm lucky that my "thing" with food is boredom eating, but not stress/emotional eating. I actually find work has been busier and easier to find a myriad of things to work on from home. I'm also being pulled less into places with candy dishes and free donuts. Also, my home office is on the 3rd floor and we have a bathroom up here as well. We come up to work and only go down for lunch the once. We don't keep food up here with us.

Trying my best to keep to my pre-op plan! It has been difficult thought and I have not been perfect. I am happy that I have not gained any weight so I am just taking it day by day. California has some restaurants opening up and I'll be staying in as much as possible to minimize our risk.
Trying to find different crafts to do with my kids during the off hours and school work keeping them on track since we are so close to the end!
