Regain woes
I know all about intuitive eating. It's pretty much bull**** Just another fad. Another way to sell a weight loss book.
Everything works for a small number of people. For a while. Any hairbrained diet you can name. But suggesting intuitive eating to anyone morbidly obese, or formerly morbidly obese, is sheer stupidity.

I agree!! The concept of eating when we are hungry and stopping when we are full led us to obesity.

it may work for some, but I'm pretty sure it wouldn't for me. My dietitian HATES that I count calories and weigh myself several times a week, she said I'm being too obsessive, but that's what works for me, so I'm sticking to i! I don't trust my body at all - I'm pretty sure could intuitively eat my way up to 300+ lbs again. Five years out, and I still have to flat-out ignore hunger signals - esp in the evenings.
