And what type of surgery you had (your signature still says lap band in 2009).

Gastricbypass. Had lapband years ago then had it removed. Lapband was awful.

Track your food on a typical day and let us know what it usually entails.

At 2 months out I was probably only eating around 500 calories a day. I have heard that when some people get a lapband removed and revise to RNY they are able to eat more at one sitting so they do. Don't do that.

Has your surgeon provided you with the documentation you need to set you up for each stage in your journey? I think I was still in the soft mushy/soupy stage at 8-12 weeks out. Your body could also be catching up and experiencing a small plateau which is also normal. I agree with logging your intake and providing it to your medical pro for guidance.

How are you doing? Have you been able to break your plateau?

How sweet you responded. Yes! It did. It seems like a slow weightloss but down 41lbs. Still feel kinda yucky but workin on it

Glad to see that things are moving in the right direction... even if slowly! Honestly, I think we all want what someone else had/has. I had a REALLY Hard time adjusting because I lost weight quickly. I had friends/coworkers ask if I was sick, I had a hard time with how I looked in the mirror. I wish my body had let my mind catch up, but it never did. I feel one way when I put on clothes, but standing in my bday suit, I still feel as big as my heaviest.

It wasn't until I started seeing a therapist that I was able to grasp and understand everything. I still call on him every now and then if I feel like I am in a rut.

I wish I could say that the feeling icky thing goes away completely, but for the most part I still feel pretty good with some off days here and there. I really try to look at the positive side of things vs focusing on the negative and that gets me by. =)

Hope things continue to get better for you
