Movement is Movement... no matter how slow! You've got this! I have never tried a meal delivery service because I have heard friends state that the prices are jacked up and it's not worth it for me. Ao intermittent fasting may be an unplanned option for you! lol

PLUS, you are feeling GOOD!

I developed IBS-C a few years after my RNY, and I slowly adapted to eating not before noon, or at least 5 hours after I am up and drink lots of no calories liquids. (Btw. - I probably always had IBS-C but it got severe after RNY and FB removal)

I started doing IF because of nausea, discomfort, or real pain when I eat too soon after getting up and I don't drink enough (caffeine, tea, water). When I started IF I was 10 lbs above my personal goal, but I resolved to just be like that because I didn't want the severe restrictions that would come if I had to lose it.

But doing IF to deal with gut discomfort also made me lose the rest of my regain. And a few more pounds.

BTW - after 2 years with my SO when we tried to eat meals at the same time and eat what we both can eat, we gave up. I eat what it good for me, he eats what he wants. I often fix his evening meals, but most of the time I really eat what I want when I want it.

We eat meals together, but not everyday. That really helped us maintain weight, for both of us. For the first 2 years we were together we tried to eat similar meals, except I would skip most of his carbs. We both gained weight.

WOW!! Way to go, Lynnc99!! You have motivated me!! You make it so simple!

Got a quick question? You mentioned you only take in 700-750 calories a day. Is this normal for someone who is say, 5 years post op? Maybe, I'm taking in too many calories. ?? Thanks again for your post! You are doing great!!!

Well today, I can say it's not so simple. I had a couple of days when I overdid it on carbs and am on a bit of a fresh start today.

But yes, my best days calorie intake is 700-800. I occasionally hit 1000 calories but that's what I consider a "big eating" day. I am 10 1/2 years out and know that over the years there have been some days that I've eaten more calories. The key to me is still to stick with protein and veggies first....not always easy. The carbs did indeed call to me in the last week.

I check in with my nutritionist next Tuesday!
