Come on now... do you really order from the "Kids Menu"?

Never have and I never will. I often order an appetizer and usually that's great for me because some places have apps that are quite big such as chicken quesadillas. I do love ordering a full size meal because as others have said its great for yummy leftovers!

I've never ordered off the kid's menu. I do commonly order appetizers in place of a meal. I occasionally share an entree with my husband if we also order an appetizer.

Like Erin, I tend to order an appetizer or split an appetizer and entree with whoever I'm eating with.
I also rarely eat out.

I thought that card was the silliest part of the process. Leftovers or appetizers, some places offer small/half portions as well but not the kids menu.

I used the card once and that was for a buffet that my entire family insisted on going to and I was pretty fresh out of surgery. They would not let me enter unless I paid, wouldn't let me bring something of my own and when I tried to explain why it'd didn't matter... $23.99 was the highest price I ever paid for 2 oz of turkey.
Sometimes I order from the kids menu, but only if I am doing take-out for the whole family. We do not eat out very often so if I want chicken strips or pizza the calorie content is not that big of a concern to me.

I've never ordered from the kids menu & probably will never order from that menu. Appetizers or starters is good for me as a meal. After all I'm adult & I like "adulting".

Good on you, T. I'll turn 60 this summer, and I still don't feel like an adult.
I don't think I've ever seen a kids menu at a restaurant in Ireland. Going out to dinner is more of a special occasion here, and tends to be only adults. Dublin might have some family-style restaurants that would have kids menus.
I usually stick to cafe-type restaurants. The kind of place where you can order just soup, or something light like that. Ironically, when I do go out to eat, since it's only 3-4 times a year, I often order just a small serving of sweet potato fries. That might seem bad for a WLS person, but my diet is generally extremely low fat. I get plenty of fibre, but I tend to forget that I need some fat in order to avoid constipation. Hence the sweet potato fries.
Not even once.
I have no moral or ethical or any other high-minded reasons for not doing so. I just don't need or even particularly like french fries or mac 'n cheese or hot dogs or other "kid food" when I could order something I would enjoy eating.
