How long was your "process"?

Unbelievable! That is the quickest (non-cash pay) I've seen so far! 5 years seems a bit excessive but very happy your friend saw it through.

He did tell me he was somewhat afraid and also did not follow Dr's advice about meeting the requirements. When we originally went in I was about 340 lbs at 6 ft, he was about 355lbs at 6'1" this summer when he got sleeved he was 406 lbs. he's about 290 lbs now, so doing well

Heck yes, I would say he is doing well! Good for him!

1. I'm post gastric sleeve almost 8 years and I began having really back acid reflux, Made an appointment with my surgeon in August, was scheduled for a endoscopy in December found out I was approved in January I'm having surgery on Wednesday 2/12/20 .So about 6 months for me to get my revision .

Well, I actually started the process 3 times before I finally went through with it and I'm thankful I didn't do it the first two times as the DS wasn't an option until my third attempt.! It took 6 months from dust weight in to surgery,

My process took about 18 months and I feel exactly the same way you do! If I got my surgery when "I " thought I wanted it... I think it would have had a different outcome... glad I was denied a few times.
