I'm doing ok so far. I have a doctor appointment to see my regular doctor in few days. He want to know if I was able to get appointment at the weightloss center and I was. It is February 18th. I will be able to see a nutritionist. I was told I have to go once a month to see her and be weighted. I appreciate the help I'm getting from everybody thank you very much.

Crystal, I may not have all of the right words to say but I'll give it my best. Three years ago I found myself weighing 450 pounds, and like you I suffered mightily from depression. No friends, I couldn't walk 100 FEET without having to stop and catch my breath, and everything I tried had failed. Fortunately for me I discovered my local hospital's Weight Loss clinic that offered two different tracks to lose weight; obviously they offer the surgical track, and like you, there are many patients who have to lose an amount of weight before surgery, so the also offer a non-surgical track known as Medically Managed. In this latter program includes regular appointments with a Medical Professional trained in obesity, and in my case that is a LPN. I also meet monthly with a Dietician with a Master's degree in the subject. Finally, I meet regularly with an Exercise Physiologist, not just a Trainer, who has the ability to design customized exercise programs, no matter what you current physical status. These folks do not use meal replacement shakes or meal replacement anything else. I would encourage you to find such a program and get started right where you are. They can help you with your Thyroid issue and help get you moving. In the next few weeks I expect to set a new record for weight loss in our clinic's Medically Managed program of 150 pounds+. I know that if I can do it, you can too. Hang in there Crystal, you can do this.

Thank you for your post; I will definitely check my local hospital see if they have something like that. I've been trying so hard stay positive but lately I've been so at a lost. Like in the past when one thing doesn't work I try something else. And I keep telling myself its ok just don't give up. Thank you again
