You look GREAT!!! I'm so impressed that you kept your weight off for 15 years!! How did you do it? Did you ever regain? I'm so impressed!! Great motivational story!

I did put on a bit here & there, I get on the scale every morning

when I see it go up, I go back to the basics

terrified of letting it out of control

portion control & limit what I eat. I pretty much have anything I want just plan around it

I look at how much my quality of life has improved

I golf, dance & try to enjoy the freedoms from not carrying all the extra weight

I know of several veterans here who are 15, 20, 25 years + out of surgery and have maintained their weightloss.

They're here most days if you have questions on regain or maintenance. They may not turn up to post pictures every year, but are here to offer support whenever it is needed. They're the people who provide my support and motivation to keep on track

I don't check in often, but when I lost the weight I also became very active.

Time came where I felt the need for less computer time and more time doing things.

Im glad this board helps you

I got very confused here when they changed things and my whole page basically disappeared. I had trouble maneuvering around. So I gave up for a while

my email alert & FB on OH are always w/notifications on

Yeah, I'm also very active and so are the people to whom I referred - couch potatoes don't generally stay fit and healthy as we all have lol.

There's nothing wrong with your drive by picture postings, you look great (and I'm more than happy for people to see my holiday bikini pics if they are interested) - but it does a disservice for people struggling with regain and maintenance to think there aren't motivational people on here most days who can give them the day to day support they need to be successful

It's been fun with keeping up with the OH changes over the years. I can't imagine how confusing it must be to come back every couple of years to find how much it's changed. Funnily, I think picture posting is probably the area of most change so I get that for you.

Well if it is a disservice I'll skip the drive bys in the future

Just FYI years ago I got certified by OH to run a support group. Rural area I live in had few if any show up for meetings so I stopped holding them

It's not my board, you should post as you wish!

I posted to one of your commenters because she says she is struggling and I wanted her to know there are people here every day to help her if she wants it.

I applaud you for providing support in the past.

As YOU do, for US, Kim!! I feel confident in speaking for OTHERS...I don't usually speak, for anyone, but myself!

I can't even recall the last time I posted a picture...Oh, WTH...
