Back on track! FINALLY
I have struggled with regain for a while and I made a commitment to get back on track and I have been getting to it. Back to meal planning, prepping and tracking all foods and eating modified keto and I have dropped about 10 lbs since the end of December.
I want to increase my exercise now. I'd like to hear from others who have successfully lost regain on what sort of exercise you did to help with the loss of regain.

Anything that you will do consistently is the best exercise, so choose something you enjoy or you will find every excuse not to do it!
Also, consider exercise as good for your health - it really does not help that much with weightloss. I have never eaten back one calorie that my tracker says I've expended with exercise.

I have the Fitbit Versa & the Apple Watch. I like both & I probably look like I have ocd or something by having 2 watches. I really like the Fitbit to track my steps & sleep. I like the Apple Watch for everything else. Just keep in mind that you'll probably have to charge it every day, the battery life really doesn't last past a day or 2 if you have a really active day. I did like the Apple Watch analyzed my heart rate at one time & picked up a afib.
I think because the Apple Watch can do so much, it's why the battery conks out. Maybe if I got rid of some of the apps I can get it to last longer.
Just figured to let you know about the Apple Watch b4 you spend the money for it since it's really expensive, but worth it to me anyway.

I really don't use exercise to lose regain. I exercise because I enjoy it & any weight loss is because I cut back on my eating.
For me I like bike riding & I try to ride as much as possible, in fact I have a tour coming up in May. I've only recently started to incorporate weights into my routine. I only really did it to augment my bike riding & getting strong enough to handle hills better. I like feeling strong & fit.
The people that tell you that walking doesn't burn enough calories must be walking very slowly. You can speed walk. The goal really is to get your heart rate up.
Like Kim mentioned, you have to find what you like & stick with it. You might like yoga or other low impact exercise, just don't rely on it for weight loss.

Thank you for your reply and helpful information. I agree that those saying walking doesn't burn enough calories aren't walking fast enough lol I walk fast so I know I burn calories. Bike riding is a great exercise and I enjoyed it so very much when I was younger but now I am just not comfortable on a bike unless its a stationary one. I think it is wonderful you are doing a tour. Is this your first one?
