Anyone 10+ years post op Rny and had a colonoscopy?

I have had a colonoscopy I had my surgery in 2010. I uses electrolytes to help mine

you can drink water also

I hate to be a worrywart ... but we did have a close family friend who died from a perforation she received during a routine colonoscopy. Is there a concrete reason this is being done or just because ?

I personally don't allow invasive tests " just because " like mushing my breasts extremely painfully to check for cysts ... when a blood test alone indicates possible cancer.
