Congrats on your beautiful boys!!

I had twin boys 19 years ago, so it was way before my RNY. I can't even fathom trying to keep up with twins-and trying to stay on track food wise at the same time!! I barely remembered my name at one point, haha. You'll get there with the food.

They're fun, aren't they? I loved watching them interact when they were babies. I still love watching them talk and interact (and try to adult...lol) . They just instinctively look out for each other, even now.

Just wait until they can conspire to create all sorts of fun hijinks! "Cat Tossing 101" is still talked about today in our family. ( the cat was okay, just a little freaked out. )

I woke up in between a memory and a dream...

Tamoxifen is often used as a shortcut to definition performance and fat loss by female bodybuilders and athletes .

I DO know this is an untraditional use of this medicine but it has a long history of being successfully used to help w postpartum depression and a too high estrogen level which is exactly the hormone that doesn't let you lose if you will .

Unfortunately our full fat cells fight to perpetuate themselves - in the form of stimulating extra estrogen production . This is why fat guys usually don't go bald ... till they lose weight .

You can get a blood test to determine estrogen level ... mine was unusually high which predisposes me to breast and uterine cancer . I am very grateful for tamoxifen .

I found zero evidence linking Tamoxifen to treatment of depression. In fact, it's known to CAUSE depression.

I hope the site doesn't " lose " my previous responses or this last will make little sense .

When my ex-dates wife gave birth to the twins she gained 40 or so lbs ... and found it very hard to lose them . She was Really trying .. I remember her running a race in Central Park at midnight on New Years Eve ... while everyone she knew feasted ... not so good .

So her hubby asked my advice ... and I think he prescribed her temporarily the tamoxifen and Wellbutrin which is a very temporary fast acting antidepressant helpful for working out .

They also bought a home in the suburbs . I just called him for an update - she's still a housewife the boys are 4 1/2 and gorgeous and in pre school and they have a full time nanny and twice a week cleaning help .

After six months she stopped everything but the Wellbutrin ... and she's now happy a size 6 and a certified yoga teacher ..

as far as diet goes they eat kosher .... he's complaining that whatever she lost he gained lol :)

Good to see you back, Stacy!! I hope you stick around. Look back at your old posts. You always gave good advice and were so supportive to others. Let others support you now and be kind to yourself!!

A year and a half ago my mother was diagnosed with cancer and recently died. During that period I put on 25 pounds. I also need to take care of myself and lose the weight. I have to forgive myself for gaining and do what I know I need to do to get it off. Easier said than done, right?

Take things one day at a time!!
