I was reading your forum and was curious about something. Is it ok to Have Optifast shakes daily whilst taking metformin daily?
My surgery centre switched from Optifast to SlimTime which is what I was prescribed. I took metformin daily with it with no problems.
You do need to be aware of your blood sugar levels. A sudden change in what you are eating could cause low or high blood sugar incidents.
