As to iron levels, did the PCP check not only the serum (blood) iron levels, but the Ferritin level as well? Ferrentin is your body's stores of iron, not just the iron that is circulating in your blood. That is also important and can be dangerous if it gets too low. As to D supps., be sure you take it in the form of D-3, which is the best-utilized version of that vitamin.
