Gaining weight after gaining a partner

I have to be honest there are times when I am sad and then mad. There is no question in my mind he would still be here with me if only.... YOU GOT THIS!

I am 4 years post surgery, and when I meet my girlfriend and we started living together I picked up her eating habits of snacking and portion size, and over I quickly gained 10 pounds over the first month. Which freaked me out, and I had to have a heart to heart conversation with her. She was taken back by the conversation and our relation almost imploded over iyhia exact issue. I immediately changed my eating pattern and slowly lost the weight.

Were y'all able ro work it out?
