Thank you!

I got my name switched up ... been separated for almost 5 years, so now I'm back to maiden name on here and using "Kath L" ... feels better than Kathy S name anyway. No more confusion.

Look forward to watching your journey whoever you turn out to be Kathy S. Just ask questions cuz it's kinda hard to tell you what we think you need to know when we don't know what you know. I'm sure you'll have a gazillion and we will have a have a gazillion answers.

I switched name up to Kath L ... reflects my maiden name that I've been using anyway.

It looks like you have lost a lot of weight. Congrats on the success.

It is very normal to be nervous about the surgery. I know when I was in surgery prep, I kept thinking - please knock me out before I run out of here. I don't regret having done it.

for me it took me 15 months from the time that i did the on line seminar to when i had surgery but everything i had to do i kept telling myself it was just one step towards my goal. for me it was just one step at a time, seeing the dietician, seeing my pcp for 6 months in a row, all the medical clearances i had to go thru, the ekg's, blood work etc but i kept telling myself to just hang in there, the end is coming soon. going to all the appointments kept me busy and before i knew it i had the 1st appt with my surgeon. the wait time for me just flew by. hang in there. having the surgery was the best decision that i have ever made!
