Did your pet reflect you size?

I recently lost my sweet little Buddy and down to just Rocky and me. The thought crossed my mind I would not have had him for 14 years if he had not lost weight when Mommy did. Looking back on some photos I realized as I got bigger so did my fur babies. As I lost weight so did they.

My dachshund passed and she was overweight. She loved to eat. My poodle is a petite eater and not in the least overweight. So I guess one did and the other didn't.

Well, I used to be chubby like the dachshund but I have curly hair like the poodle.

No, our Oreo is extremely fit but that is mostly because my husband walks her twice a day.

I walk with them some, but he never misses. In addition to walking on the leash in our neighborhood, they go over to a big patch of desert and Roro gets off her leash to chase bunnies and lizards.

If we move we lose and the same can be said for our pets.

my furry 14 yr old cat has always been big but after i had the surgery she started to eat more. at times i wondered if she was eating more than momma was? it is wierd.

No, I have performance dogs and they are all extremely fit, even my 14 year old chihuahua looks amazing. Now the cat on the other hand, he's a fat boy!
