successes
today was one of the days i just wanted to cry. before the surgery i was on 19 meds, a c-pap, oxygen 24/7, at one time i had to go to the nursing home for a month because i could not move. so yesterday i had labs from both my surgeon and pcp. i talked to my pcp's nurse today and she said that for the first time in 15 yrs i can go off the thyroid and cholesterol meds. that is another 2 that i don't have to take. so i had been saving up my money and sunday i bought $93.00 worth of clothes on-line in sizes smaller and i saved over $430.00 and shipping was included. for the first time ever i can fit into tennis shoes, yea before surgery my legs, feet were so swollen that i had cellulitis and had to go to wound care every week because they were weeping so bad. all that is in the past now. i have lost 132 lbs now and i really don't know how i am doing it. i am in a wheelchair do to a previous car accident and its like i am still losing. my whole life has changed. my surgeon Dr. Carlyle Dunshee has totally saved my life. in my opinion he is my hero! i plan to have a consult with a plastic surgeon in a few months, someone that i saw 19 yrs ago. yes i am looking forward to this meeting. thanks for all of your support
