Reaching out to see if anyone out there has been denied for the OverStitch Procedure as a revision to RNY Bypass and had it approved after doing an appeal to have an independent medical review done?

Please let me know.

Thank you.

I just checked it out because I didn't know what it was. The article I read said that it often isn't paid for by insurance. Do you have obesity related co-morbidities that can be used to prove your need for surgery?

I am not aware of any insurance that will pay for this revision. You might have to consider asking for some cash prices. Let us know if you need help with that.

Good luck TK

I remember when it was new - it didn't last long and many were disappointed with the results.
