I LOVE this show! For me I think it's how they value family above all that I love the most. Not to mention Tom and me go way back...all the way to Magnum PI LOL

However!!!! There was one episode that found me screaming at the screen "OH HELL NO"! Did you just say that?

Do I fault Tom Selleck? Of course not! He is an actor, reading lines. Do I wish he would stand up, and DEMAND Fat Shaming, be stopped, or he's gonna WALK ?!?!? I know he loves me, and KATHY for all our years of loyalty...but probably not THAT much :)

But Gina he is "our" Tom! I am not sure which I feel in love with first. Tom or the car LOL

Selleck is 74 now. Ouch. The actor who plays his father on Blue Bloods is only 6 years older.

They've now done about 50 more episodes of Blue Bloods than they did Magnum.

No matter how much we want to believe differently, this is the way most of the world looks at weight loss surgery. From the beginning I told people that I had surgery, weight loss was easy and so much better than the traditional diet and exercise programs that did not work for me.

When they act like I cheated the system, I tend to agree with them. I tell them that 80% of the people who need weight loss surgery never get it and have to stay overweight. Most of them get a shocked look on their face and know they are thinking about their own excess weight.

I believe in the future there will something better than weight loss surgery, but for today, it is the best solution that the medical profession has to offer.

I personally would have some hesitation about a police officer having bariatric surgery, due to some of the issues that can occur after surgery. I would not be in shape to fight crime during a dumping or low blood sugar episode.

I know it was just a TV show but the way they called the character in to blackmail him about his weight loss surgery. Disappointment but I understand what you are saying

Why was he hiding that he had that? Why not have that option available to others?

As an ex-smoker - I hate cigarettes's smoke. As for obesity, if it prevent a person from doing their job, by I have no position that allow them to work for us, I may have them go.

Same like color blind people, since our job requirements is to be able to recognize 12 standard (for fiber optic) colors.
