gas
i am 7 months post-op and have lost 131 lbs but i have a real problem with gas. i eat chicken or turkey and green veggies such as cucumbers and green peppers and kale. this afternoon i tried a fresh pear cut in half with alittle stevia and cinnamon and nutmeg on it in the oven until it got soft. i want to make sure i can go to the bathroom so i think i overkill when it comes to the fiber issue. has anyone else had this issue before? what can you do about it besides take gas-x? can you get too much fiber? i appreciate any feedback. thanks
Try an elimination diet. Chicken only for a few days, and see if the gas stops. If it does, add in one thing only for three days. Continue until you hit whatever causes the gas.
I don't eat anything with fiber, and I'm regular as clockwork.

For ME, deadly gas (more deadly, for the peeps AROUND me!) comes when I have too much dairy, or processed carbs. How are you, with those?
Are the green peppers/cucumbers/kale all in the same day? Might be too much, right now. Like GRIM said, back off, on one thing, at a time, and see if you can find what is causing the problem

I get them too. But mine smell like candy.
