When I lived in NYC & in Maryland, I donated blood for nothing. Unless you want to count the random oj & cookie you might get afterward. You're compensated for your TIME, and it's a lot of time. NOT your plasma donation. Every reputable facility informs everyone of that. I'd still do it if I wasn't. Voila.

You should stop trying to sell crap to people. This is off topic and predatory.

I first read her post about this in her blog and she only copy and pasted it to the forum because someone thought it would be a good idea to inform others about this because most in the weight loss surgery community don't even think they would qualify for anything like this. She isn't trying to sell anyone anything. She didnt even say how much she got compensated or what company she went with. I thought her post was informing.
