Narcissistic Personality Disorder: Correlation to Toxic Shame & Compulsive Eating
on 4/10/19 8:27 am
This is an extraordinary bad take, filled with victim blaming and shaming (which is ironic since it ostensibly is about toxic shame).
We attract the level we are? We are as sick as the people we seek? People prove themselves unworthy by being addicted, alcoholic or married to those that are?
It's insulting and damaging.

I completely agree. This is a damaging article and OH shouldn't publish this sort of crap :/
Not to mention it needs some serious editing.

Wow, this is NOT okay.
>> Just because you have a mental disorder or because we don't like the traits of the Narcissist, that can keep us from ignoring our own faults and keeping our eyes on their imperfections, not how we need our own healing.
Destructive behavior on the part of the narciccist is THEIR fault, their problem, their responsibility.

I'm also absolutely shocked by the author's responses to commentators on the actual article thread. "I hear you" is NOT an appropriate response to legitimate criticism.
