Need Kick in Butt
I know. Didn't I JUST post that I lost my regain and had a good maintenance plan? Well, for the last 2 weeks I've dived head first into constant carb eating and I have no idea what I weigh now because I'm too scared to check. Again.
How can I KNOW exactly how to eat to make myself feel wonderful and then choose not to do that? I honestly have not even enjoyed the carbs these last two weeks and I have no idea why I'm compulsively eating them.
Ok, carb binge is over. Spring is here, time for renewal. Meat and Eggs and plenty of just not eating are on the horizon.

Did you really have weight loss surgery just to continue with a lifetime of rollercoaster dieting?

You've posted recently that you do not weigh, measure, or log your food. That seems like a huge red flag to me.

It's a journey. How can you complete a trip if you don't look at all the markers, terrain, backgrounds and directions? It's all about accountability, why we must weigh ourselves. I was doing well until a guy brought in 24 boxes of Girl Scout Cookies-thought all my past affairs-Lil Debbie, The Twinkie Twins, the Suzie Q cousins, Mrs Butterworth and even Aunt Jemima were over with but obviously I still have a wandering eye!
I ate 4 Samoan's (ok 6-450 calories!), recorded it in MFP App, and got back to doing what I need to do. It's accountability. Not saying that we can keep messing up and then forgiving ourselves, we need to have some discipline and self-control but each of my missteps are fewer and more far in between.
Weigh yourself, get a game plan and try to stick to it. I LOVE the challenge of sticking to a plan and battling it out-especially when the results back me. Just one warning, don't go too extreme-that never works. Just get back on plan. The cookies will still be here tomorrow so I need to plan for them. Will bring in a FitCrunch protein bar to supplant my craving for the Samoan.......I hope : ) Hey, just get back on the horse.
I weigh myself every morning even if I don't want to. I want to see any damages right away so I'll get back on my plan! In the past (pre-WLS), my regain problems always started once I quit weighing myself every day. It's so easy for that weight to start creeping back up if you're not paying attention!

Also: if memory serves, you've gotten a few "kick in the butt" comments/posts in the past, both on this post and back on your old Mahonia. You may want to go back and check those out.
The fact that those did not (apparently) help you make me think you would benefit from (more/different) professional mental health help.

My concern is more your 'just not eating ' comment. The number one reason people binge on things is over-restricting their daily intake of food.
You are in maintenance not weight loss mode. Even if you feel you need to lose a few pounds, it's ok to do it slowly.
It is consistency over perfection.
