That is interesting NYMom222,

I have bought my son a Cadbury egg every Easter since he was little. He is doing Keto and was not going to get him one. I will send this to him

Those were my absolute favorite as a child and pre surgery as an adult! Every Easter I'd buy some and indulge. Those and the Reese's peanut butter eggs were my weakness. This will be my first Easter without those little devils! Totally worth it though! I do miss my chocolate though. Oh well, my chocolate protein shake will suffice.

As former chocolate addict, I now find most milk chocolate too sweet and often tasteless ... But I discovered that one square of 70 - 85% dark chocolate, that I allow to slowly melt in my mouth, takes care of the cravings, and it is not very bad for me.

The very dark chocolates (70% and higher cocoa) can taste very bitter, and not good, but when I allow it to melt in my mouth, and get used to them - are really nice. Now I often find the 70% chocolate to be slightly too sweet for me.

I used to be addicted to them. One year post op I had one. I was at, below my goal, so I justify getting one as ",can afford to eat".

Yes...it didn't end up good. I was glad I waited to eat it after I got home. Dumping followed by RH was my "reward". And it really did not taste as good as I remembered. It was too sweet, and the sugar in it makes any other flavors. I still ate the whole thing.

Now - if I get tempted by some item I think is "wonderful", but now just one bite doesn't taste anything I remember, I toss that. It can be sweets, or chips, fruits, bread..etc.

I have limited space in my pouch, and "she gets *****y", when I ignore her " I don't like it" signals.

Eat a real egg instead lol

There are three ways of dealing with difference: domination, compromise and integration. By domination only one side gets what it wants; by integration we find a way by which both sides may get what they wish.........
