it's been 5 1/2 months since i had gastric bypass surgery and as of today i have lost 109 lbs. my friends keep telling me that i needed to get smaller clothes so i went to wal-mart and for the first time in 25-30 yrs i can actually fit into their clothes. all i wanted to do was cry. I only paid $5.96 per shirt and got 3 of them in cute colors. i am in a wheelchair and honestly i don't know what i am doing to get the weight off. the only place i eat out is salads at Subway. i actually ordered some capris that were bright and had flowers on them, not something i would have ever done in the past. my life is changing all the time, its wierd. thanks everyone for just listening to me.

Isn't that exciting. I will soon be down 100 lbs and now can shop in "regular" stores versus big size stores. I have actually cried as well. Shoes no longer need to be wide either. Congratulations on your progress! Keep it up. No regrets!
