Passenger fumes about being seated between pigs
Before my DS I once stood for an entire flight between Denver and Washington DC. The travel agent screwed up and put me in a middle seat. I sat during takeoff and landing, but otherwise I stood the rest of the flight. The flight attendants never made me sit down (luckily it was a smooth flight). If I needed to sit, I went into the restroom. I was in agony by the time we landed (at 350 pounds my back was killing me).
I was so paranoid of sitting next to someone like that.

Unfortunately, there are a lot of people like that. Most of them cover their attitude and show their true self only around people like them. And even is she cold see herself in the video, she would not see what she did was wrong. I know people like that. I always try not to be close to them while they talk since I don't want end up in jail.
It doesn't help that most planes now have a very narrow seats. And the space between the rows is shrinking. We plan to travel to Europe Kate this year and I am already thinking about the plane rides.

I am sure we all have a story similar and it's disgraceful. Flying is the worst as a larger person, period. On one flight, one woman loudly whispered to her neighbor on the other side of me, about how I should be ashamed for being so large. I just remember quietly crying the whole flight. She then proceeded to tell me how much prettier I'd be if I was thinner. Ugh!
Damn! I'm so sorry that happened to you.
Some people are idiots.

I understand people being uncomfortable on planes. The seats are smaller now. But if she were worried, she should have reserved an aisle or window seat. Or business/first class.
What is sad to me as a society that people think it is OK to be so disrespectful to other people. Where is the humanity?

Hi Laura
What got me is when she got on the phone and began to talk very loudly to the other person about how fat they were, how she was getting squished yada, yada, yada.... All she had to do was turn around when she saw where she was sitting and speak to the attendant to move her. There is always someone in the front, back and middle of the plane. Nicely, discreetly and not harm no foul. She was the lowest of low on how she publicly, loudly shamed...
