I had RNY in April of 2018. I have lost 90 lbs. but for the last month, I have held at the same weight with NO LOSS. I swim 1 mile every other day and am doing my best to be diligent. Is it to be expected to be at this point and be stuck for this long?

Hi there. You say you're "doing your best to be diligent" which sort of implies that you aren't actually being diligent.

So, if you aren't already, start measuring and tracking everything you put into your mouth with something like MyFitnessPal. Everything. That will show you what you're doing now so that you'll know what you need to change to see the results you want.

So noted. Wish I could say I am not being diligent. Nothing has changed on the intake end from the last 8 months. Second choice?

Great - since you're tracking everything you consume, what does a normal day of eating look like for you? What are you eating - both in terms of content and amount? How many grams of protein are you getting? How many total calories? How much liquid are you drinking each day? What type of liquid?

If you give us these details, we can try to troubleshoot.

Yup,

I track everything and if you're eating a bunch of carbs that will stall your weight loss at some point. Most of us do protein first followed by low carb veggies and almost no carbs. Some do under 20 a day, some do more. I can loss weight at 75 carbs a day or less. Everyone is a little different. But carbs matter.

You are in maintenance. You need to log everything you are eating and reduce calories to lose more weight.

You say that "nothing has changed on the intake" which, if true means you have put yourself into maintenance. We've all heard it, the less we weigh, the less calories we need. Well if you have lost 90 pounds that means that you need around 900 less calories per day than before. Eating the amount you were eating before allowed you to lose at your higher weight. That is no longer true at your lower weight, you must now eat less. Easier said than done, trust me I know lol

What are your stats? Like calories per day, grams of protein and carbs? Water consumption per day? Etc.

Hope it helps!

And best of luck
