After 14 years this gurgling still drives me nuts....
I remember shortly after surgery i could be sitting in a room and all of the sudden all eyes were on me. I soon realized my stomach noises we're so loud everyone could hear them. Right after surgery everyone would laugh and say Mom's hungry. Now they look at me and say is that you? Knowing it's me and being sarcastic. It's worst in public, or waiting rooms. I have actual walked outside until it "calmed" down.
Do you have this? Have you found anything to make it better? I have not in 14 years but thought I would ask.
Thanks,
Kathy

This is so weird because I know lots of people get it, but I've never had it lol.
I'm sure my lifestyle and diet is the same as everyone else, so I can only guess that its physiological, meaning there's probably nothing you can do about it?

I too am a gurgler - some days more than others. I have no idea how to reduce it!

Sorry you're still dealing with that, Kathy.
Happily, I don't have that problem, at least not severely or frequently.
FYI, I was sleeved 4.5 years ago.

It was really bad for me up until maintenance. In maintenance, it seems to be somewhat better. So I don't know if it's the larger volume of food, adding more veggies, more carbs, or what. I still try to avoid drinking anything on an empty stomach before meetings because it will do it. I have found that I can make it stop sometimes by clenching my abdominal muscles.
