WLS App?
I have combed the boards and have yet to find this question so I apologize if it is a repeat:
Has anyone found a WLS app that they like and use? I am scheduled for VSG on Jan 10th so I have been working on establishing good habits, such as drinking water. However, I still don't believe I've had a single day where I reached the 64 oz goal. So that is one of my primary criteria, one that helps with that. Tracking weight loss I have been doing here. I found one: Baritastic but it seems clunky (not user friendly) so far.
You guys are the WLS experts so go:

I use baritastic to plan my meals, My Fitness pal to document what I actually ate vs my plan, and I track my weight on one called My Weight because I like it's display. I think a lot of people use MFP for everything though.
There's an app called Water that a friend who did a ton of research on hydration tracking apps recommends; I haven't tried it though.
Good luck finding what works for you!

Hi Gina,
Thanks for your input and being a long time support of OH. I agree an app would be a great addition and way to reach more people in need of support and help. Let's hope we see one soon as I know the Tech Team is aware of this and working on it.
Take care,
Kathy

I love My Fitness Pal, it lets me add stuff so I can chart net carbs, track my weight with a cute graph (it will show you by the week, month, year, since starting date..), tracks water, you can set goals for Protein/carb/fat %, calorie goals. I used a few other ones and this is by far the best FREE app I've used for tracking.
I love the fact I can copy to the next day or make a "meal" where is has everything entered and saved! You can even take a picture of your meal and it uses that picture for you to add that meal to another day. So easy once you get a few weeks out.

Now THAT sounds super user friendly! I love apps that allow me to say reorder laundry detergent by just snapping the bar code so this sounds right up my alley.
Thanks for your input, that is why I am here, to learn from others who have already traveled this road.

I just started using Noom. I paid $1 for a free trial period, then cancelled it a few days later. If you pay their fee, you're supposed to get a personal coach. But the app lets me weigh in daily, log my food, and read the daily tips/pointers/information. I also use Baritastic because it has a journaling feature.
