Today i turned 61. I had gastric bypass surgery on Sept 13,2018. My goal was to get off 100 lbs by my birthday. i got on the scales today at 7am and yes i had gotten the 100 lbs off. I felt like crying. I have gone from 345 to 245 and i want to get down to 165. Even though i had the surgery everyday i have choices, do i want to exercise and eat healthy or go back to the way i was before. Some days there are struggles but I have people in my life who are very supportive. I am no longer on oxygen or blood pressure meds. I am so much happier now and I love the new me baggy skin and all.

CONGRATS!!! I am a little ahead of you, age wise...I will be 61 and a HALF, on the 24th :)

Your "numbers" are impressive, OF COURSE. but it's the NSV that count, in the long run, unless you plan to tatoo your weight loss numbers across your forehead, for all the world, to see...Yea, I considered it...

The getting off additional oxygen and off the blood pressure are MAJOR accomplishments!!!!!!!!! Those are the LIFE SAVING ones!!!!!

So very excited you are choosing to take charge, of your health!!

Please keep posting!!!
