Hey Everyone

We look for tools on a daily basis that will assist us with our weight loss and more importantly dealing with the "NEW YOU" and keeping the weight off.

We all know the food, exercise and vitamins are vital for our success and health but PHOTOS can be a wonderful tool for us

**PHOTOS can help you track your weight loss - take one every month of your weight loss
**PHOTOS can help you deal with head issues - if you still see a fat person compare your PHOTOS
**PHOTOS can validate your success
**PHOTOS can be worn like a badge of courage - take your before PHOTO and put it on a tee shirt with the works "NEVER AGAIN"

**PHOTOS can be a reminder of how far you have come - I look at my before PHOTO when I am tempted
**PHOTOS keep you on track - I had one on my fridge and as wallpaper on my computer for a good 18 months after hitting goal.
**PHOTOS amaze people - whip that puppy out and share your journey to give others hope they can do it.

Take care,
Kathy

PS..that photo was taken before my 3 plastics surgeries.

I definitely need to take some full body pictures now. I like that monthly photo idea too!

Jan. 22, 2019 had RNY surgery. Please send positive thoughts and prayers my way. Thanks!

Do it! I had my husband take full-body photos of me (all four sides) before surgery, and then every month on my surgery date until I hit maintenance. I am SO GLAD I have all of these! Plus they're great for those days when you get down because you feel like you're not losing - or that you don't notice a difference. There may not appear to be a huge difference from one month to the next, but when you compare your current pic to ones taken four months ago - or six months ago, HUGE difference. It's really, really helpful to have these!

Hi Shana

Please do... I had such body issues that even after losing 100 pounds I just didn't see it. My husband thought I was nuts in an loving way. It was not until I took all those monthly photos and laid them out next to each other on the bed that I realized what a kick a** job I was doing. It was such a motivator for me to keep going until my lowest was 114.

We want to see them here Shana! YOU GOT THIS!

It does And if you work on a computer all the time like I do putting on your desktop helps as well. I had to see that photo everyday and while it pained me I needed it to see how bad I had gotten. Then I started doing those side by sides and it kept me going even through a 9 week stall.

It's the little things Michelle that really make a difference I think? And when we are stressed about surgery and how to get our water and protein in it's nice when others say hey don't forget your photos. Great job on losing your weight and living life as it's meant to be lived.

hahahaha...I have always kept pics of me at 18 on the beach in a bikini...so am I doing it wrong? DH said I had a 'superiority complex'.

We never see ourselves as we really are anyway. Saw a cartoon once...6 images of the same woman- a middle aged female.

  1. how she thinks she looks.
  2. how hubby sees her
  3. how her kids see her
  4. how her mom sees her
  5. how her friends see her
  6. how she REALLY looks!

Oh well, 16 lbs down and 100 to go! (ideally)

wishing us all best of luck in the new year
