Surgery Reversed
With all due respect, it sounds like you might need to research your options a bit more. For example, do you have heartburn? And are you aware of the GERD issue with VSG?
Also the reason everyone is asking why you would want to reverse is because there may be additional information that would help you.
Like, if you want to lose the weight then eat "normal" again, I'll tell you I can eat exactly EVERYTHING I could eat pre-op. Or if your reason is that you are afraid of losing too much weight, I can tell you that surgery didn't work in such a way that you continue to loose for the first 6 (12/18 whatever) months, even if it puts you underweight. You'd have to actively work to do that.
Best of luck!
VSG is irreversible. You can't get your stomach back once it is removed.
A DS your intestines can be rerouted back to "normal" but you cannot your stomach back. (Risky again, and a surgeon won't do it unless medically necessary)

Are you still pre-op? The last time you posted was about a year ago and you were working through insurance requirements.
Technically, everything can be unstitched and sewn back together, but it won't be back to unsurgeried tissue since scar tissue will have formed over the initial stitch lines, etc.

It can be, but only in extreme cir****tances. Plus you need to find a surgeon who actually has experience in this or the results can be life-threatening. Even reversed, your insides do not work the same as they did pre-op.
The first year is tough for many of us after RNY but things improve for the overwhelming majority of us.
If you are thinking the surgery is just a temporary thing and you will get it reversed when you are at your goal weight, it does not work that way.
Looking at your old posts you have been working towards getting surgery for a while now. Good luck in your journey.
