Are the Nectar fruit protein powders considered clear liquids?
Hi,
I am trying to decide if I should order some of the Nectar fruit protein powders for the clear liquids phase that I need to be on for one week post-op. The dietitian wasn't sure if these are allowed because she didn't know if they are see-through after mixed. If you use these, can you see through them after they are mixed? Were you allowed to use these for the clear liquids phase?
Thanks in advance!

The Syntrax Netctar drinks have the consistency of Crystal Light. My doctor said they were OK for the clear-liquid phase.

I'd check with your surgeon, but mine said they were ok. He did tell me to avoid red colored drinks of any kind. If there was a complication, it would make it harder to decipher if I was dyeing things red inside.

Other options might be the clear protein2o drinks, the Premier Protein Clear, Isopure has a clear bottled drink, and if you have a Vitamin Shoppe near you, they have a drink called Isotech42, all are considered clear by most standards. Your tastes may change and you might not want a whole tub of something. These drinks you can buy single bottles of a few different flavors to try. I still found most of them too strong after surgery and ended up diluting them 50/50 with water.
