Again, citation needed. Your personal experience doesn't make the "facts" you presented factual.

And, if they are facts, you should be able to share peer-reviewed research that supports your claims.

I think the OP is an Internet troll and/or someone that does NOT understand math and science to a degree that they can accurately read, process, and comment on verifiable scientific studies & data.

um....there are commenters on this thread who happen to be physicians and clinical psychologists. I would put more weight on their opinions than yours, OP.

Do you really think that we don't understand calories in vs calories out? Do you really believe that we haven't already researched the information you're trying to push? We've almost all been on doctor supervised diets. Those of us who have been maintaining for years know the work involved...know that we have to track every bite....know that we have to look at menus online before we choose a restaurant.

You are being very condescending.

Who exactly asked you to "share information"? Seems apparent that you are biased in you views and do not do well when challenged.

I trust the Mayo clinic will suffice?

This link has no in-text citations to support the claims made.

Of the references listed, only two are peer-reviewed journal articles.

The first examined different diets and determined that results were inconclusive about which was the best.

The second one actually states, "Widespread past use of erroneous rules for estimation of human weight change have led to unrealistic expectations about the potential effect of both behavioural and policy interventions."

I wouldn't want to go any lower because the GW will have a BMI of 15%.

Last I checked, BMI wasn't in percentages. Perhaps you mean body fat percentage? With your height, that weight still puts you in the obese category with a BMI of 30.5. If you're happy with that, it's all good and it's definitely better than where you started, but I don't think you will have to worry about your BF percentage being too low if you're still obese.
