Inspire me! What is something you never imagined you could do and now you can!

Oh, you went to Syria? I am so jealous. It was on my list to see but so much destruction now. Just horrible.
My nephew was in Airborne and he loves jumping out of planes. Years ago, during one of my many weight loss attempts, I had set jumping with him as a goal/reward. I didn't get there that time...this time I will!!

The news and videos out of Syria break my heart. I was there before the Civil War and all of those cities...Damascus, Aleppo, Homs...were just gorgeous. You literally felt like you were in the birthplace of civilization. People were pretty curious about us, and friendly. As friendly as people can be who have no language in common - we did a lot of smiling and miming to each other. It's so heart-breaking to see what has happened there.
I am so not ballsy enough to jump from a plane, so I will live vicariously through you!
Argh boots. They are forever my nemesis! Things that fit in the foot are never big enough in the calf and things that fit in the calf are always too big in the foot. And if something has the audacity to end between my malleolus and my knee? Then I get the calf equivalent of muffin top :P
(I'm clearly still working on figuring out how shoes work.)

I just bought a pair of over the calf boots at Rack Room shoes that have 'adjustable shafts'. They lace up the back from really large to really small. I had calves that fit into 'normal' boots before WLS so now I have micro calves and these were nice for that, but they'd be nice for your situation too!

I took an aerial yoga class a few weeks back. Other than the fact I get horribly motion sick (even in hammocks, LOL) it was really fun and a good work out. I was o****il the inversions and then I started to get a little motion sick and by the time we left I had to have Jon pull the Jeep over and let me get my equilibrium back before he could keep driving.

Oh no! That sounds awful, like a check the box never need to do that again!!
I didn't have motion sickness but I realized through all the lifting yourself up and over the sling thingy that I have zero uppper body strength. Like my arms are just limp noodles that dangle from my shoulders, it's awful.
I bought a package there, I have 9 more aerial classes and 2 bungee classes before mid Jan so maybe I will get some strength, lol
