What are your goals for the week?

Happy Monday everyone! I hope the start of your weeks are beautiful and eventful (or uneventful depending on your plans).

What goals do you have for yourself this week? Monday is always a great day to set some and get some things accomplished.

My goals

  1. Get my sleeping medicine back on track, and/or a change in my anti-depressant because something isn't working.
  2. Last week of decent weather, going to try and power through some yard work
  3. Learn more about weight lifting using the free weights instead of machines
  4. Gym every day even work days - it has become my therapy between my therapy sessions
  5. Use up food in my freezer
  6. Make a curry from scratch

Yum on the curry. I don't know if by scratch you mean mixing your own spices to create a "curry" or using a curry mix to cobble a curry dish. If it is curry mix- go with a curry paste (you-lucky thing, you- will be able to get whatever you wish there in the big city). If it is the curry box create your own--let us know when you develop the perfect blend. Have fun with this one, Mersh!

 TOTAL POUNDS LOST- 200 (110 pounds lost before surgery, 90 pounds lost Post Op.diabetes in remission-blood pressure normal-cholesterol and triglyceride levels normal!  BMI from 55.6  supermorbidly obese to 23.6  normal!!!!

Great goals, Mersh! My goal is to make it to five classes at the gym this week - that is normally easy for me, but I have random plans sprinkled throughout the week that are interfering with my normal workout schedule. I also have some sort of migraine going on so tonights classes may be out :( We shall see.

I also need to stop talking about losing my regain and actually doing something about it. My goal is to lose 1 pound this week. Start slow and steady.

And finally, I will mow the lawn. Should be the last time of the season!

My goals this week are to get more of the leaves cleaned up in the yard and try to get 5 workouts in. I did do meal prep on Saturday and logged my meals in MFP for the week.

CENTURY CLUB MEMBER at 6 months post-op.

Referral to Guelph Feb/13, Sleep study and all bloodwork and ultrasound May/13, orientation July/13. Nurse, NUT,SW Sept/13, 2nd NUT, nurse and SW, 3rd round and cleared for surgery Dec/13. Pre-op Apr 7/14, Surgeon May 2/14, Opti Jul 3/14, surgery Jul 17/14.

My different goals..

1) I already preped my food/meds/vit for the week

2) Need to get my carbs under control, my scale has flat-lined for the last 7 weeks but then it was great maintenance!

3) Get all of my workouts goals done, including walking the minimum of 5 miles daily

4) Cut back on my coffee to 16oz a day/stay at the 96oz of water daily

Great Monday question - even if I'm jumping in late!! I've got a lot going on this week so am not setting many goals but here are two I need to focus on right now.

  1. 100 oz fluid every day this week, period.
  2. My hotel room dirty dozen work out (12 rounds of 12 squats, lunges, crunches, push ups, plus 1 set of 6 of each because I think 144 is a stupid number and 150 is not a stupid number) Tuesday through Saturday.

I'm glad you posted this and wanted to come back and be accountable.

I am 50% success - fixed my fluid issues but did not meet my exercise goals.

Technically I guess I'm already down one day - but my goal this week is to paint the living room. Been meaning to do it since spring and finally went and bought all the goodies I need to get it done.

If I get the smallest bit of paint on one of the walls I'm declaring myself a success! ;)

This is a great question by the way. When I take the time to write down goals, I find myself much more likely to achieve them. Thanks Makayla!
