Siily little question -
Okay, so, funny story....my avatar is me! LOL
The End.
Seriously, though, the pic was taken the day I got my first pixie cut, when I realized my hair may never grow back after massive hair loss. I love the short cuts, but I miss my long hair. I keep hoping it will get better one day. It's filled in a little, but not as much as I'd wish. Fingers crossed!
Otherwise, I can live with the short hair :)
My avatar is just me. I went for over a year when I was first here without an avatar. Then some of The mean *****es told me they'd kick me in the nuts until I got an avatar. The avatar was an easy choice.
My screen name is a song title from my favorite artist.
6'3" tall, male.
Highest weight was 475. RNY on 08/21/12. Current weight: 198.
M1 -24; M2 -21; M3 -19; M4 -21; M5 -13; M6 -21; M7 -10; M8 -16; M9 -10; M10 -8; M11 -6; M12 -5.
yep I remember about your screen name because it was an interesting way to come up with one!
As far as the avatar goes, I know that having no avatar at all kind of looks like you're not too invested in this site here and the people. To me that makes sense. But I've heard more recently that using symbols (hello?) and cartoons is a bit similar to having no avatar at all.
For the life of me I haven't been able to correlate cartoon/symbol avatars to lack of participation no matter how I go at. But now I'm insecure and wondering if I need to put my picture up there. Anyone reading this - what are your thoughts? If that's the biggest issue I ever have here, I'll count myself lucky. But I would like to know the reasoning either or any way.
I have a power puff girl--simply because the look on this cartoon feels empowering to me. Not too deep or personal. I think the use of avatars is simply to give reference, but it's completely okay to remain anonymous by using illustrations instead of personal photos.
