Floating Stomach

My mother was diagnosed with a "Floating Stomach". I myself had Sleeve surgery a year ago, but have never heard this term. Can anyone tell me what that is or how it happens?

has your mother had gastric bypass? If so a " floating stomach" is the bypassed remnant part of the stomach left partially attached to the pouch.

It is perfectly normal post gastric bypass.
