The part that resonated with me was the portion about how there's really no 'in group' with obesity. We are not only shamed by thin people, but also by obese people who don't want to be put into the same group. No wonder we're all messed up in the head!

Speaking of messed up in the head: if anyone ever seemed like they were hitting on me (didn't happen a lot, maybe two or three times), I felt like they were a weirdo or a creep of some kind. Like, "what's off with you that you'd be attracted to me?"
