Expecting to hear from you.

Of course, I'm not replying to it. I forwarded it on to Kathy S. Just wondering if anyone else has received something like this and if unsolicited messages like this happen to others?

In the message window, there is an icon of three stacked dots, to the right of the trash can icon. You can pick "report spam" or "report abuse" and OH will be notified.
Sometimes people like to come on the site and monkey around a bit, sending spam to a bunch of users. They're usually deleted fairly quickly.

I don't know how to tell you this easily, but you just lost out on several million dollars, tax free.
Haha, good for you for not responding.

Sweet,
Unless you've already deleted it open the message, click on the little three dots in the upper right corner, then choose "report spam". (Thanks Julie and Kathy!)
Hopefully the admins will soon delete the profile (that was just created today!)
yep. It happens, thankfully not often.
The PM function on OH is kind of different. There are lots of ways to mess with someone's account (and head). One thing I've learned pretty recently is to NOT delete the message until it's been reported. All of my messages from different groups dump into one account, or they *did*. I got in the habit of deleting weird or mean stuff reflexively no matter where it originated (facebook, here, another online forum I'm a part of, my email account, etc). It now appears I've lost pretty much everything I had built up here on OH over the last 10 years relationship-wise because of one deleted PM. And that hurts.
Tech services and Kathy have both confirmed there is no way to recover deleted messages here. Just be careful.
