Do you have grocery delivery in your area? It's a total game-changer for when you don't want to worry about grocery shopping!

We do!!!

No idea why I didn't think of that. We've been meaning to try it in the hopes that it will cut down on the grocery bill by eliminating impulse buying. But I hadn't made this particular connection. You can bet I will be now though. I'm horrible when Andy is out of town and he's just going to be traveling more and more for the next few years.

Thanks for this! You may have single-handedly saved my bacon. I also hadn't thought about uber eats or door dash or similar. I could order a WLS friendly dinner and have it delivered. None of the those resources had even crossed my mind. Thanks!

Hooray! If you've got a slow-cooker or instant pot, you can be as lazy as you want. Have them deliver a bunch of meat, a few jars of sauce, and you're golden :-D

I hadn't thought of the crock pot either.

This is one of the reasons it's so helpful for post-ops to continue to check in to this forum even, or especially, after those first two or three years. I never thought of either of these options, yet both are going to be a significant help to me over the next few years.

Support here goes far beyond cheering each other through the weight loss phase. Having access to each other's minds is invaluable. Thanks Julie.

The people I know who use these type services report they get way better veggies, etc than they get when they pick them themselves

This may be TMI, but my menstrual cycle has finally come, it's been super irregular. As soon as it hit I turned into a carb monster. In the grocery store, just leering at the cupcakes and donuts and thinking horribly inappropriate things about them.

I actually lol'd at leering and thinking inappropriate at cupcakes. I can relate!

Last fall I was out and my blood sugar dropped. There was only one store that had anything to eat.I hunted for a good choice and there was not one...I could eat quickly. I got a hostess cup cake in chocolate. It was HOrrible! tasted like plastic...i only ate one sm.bite of the topping, ate most of cake to get home ..I am so glad my taste for these things have changed!...

My goals are garden orineted. By end goals of accomplishments ...in the process i am buikding my strength and stamina...I am still loosing weight... Thankfully ..warbling around a little, blood sugars are dropping so have to tighten up on carbs again... bread is my hard thing. I am building my soil by loading by hand and hauling 1/4 ton at a time loads of sawdust to add to composting materials. Today i drove off site to an area and picked up 20 inch depth of cardboard boxes and 10 ..40x48 pallets for a building project. ..all of which had to be hand loaded and unloaded.
